note to self: please lose more weight. no more dinners from here on.

ok, see, i am not trying to starve myself or something, BUT, i went online to friendster. i haven't logged in for like a million, gazillion years, and i had to check and see if anyone added me, lest i get labelled as "tau". i was just surfing around, checking out my friends and their profiles, when i saw, on one of my friend's photo albums, a picture of ME, looking like a tub of lard. a literal fat-ass!

ok i am not exaggerating, but i think u will gag on your meal if you saw how i looked back in JC. oh my gawd. seriously.

i couldn't stand looking at myself for another second.

so thus my first line. seriously.

anyway, i guess everyone is pretty much either caught up in IDOL-MANIA or totally oblivious to this kid-phenomenon going on around you.

well, its the Singapore Idol finale on Sunday, and boy, am i looking forward to it.

ok, so, maybe you don't care, but JONATHAN LEONG is my primary school friend ok! (and he actually rems me!)

ha. i had the chance to interview the idols. caught up with Paul Twohill, whom i absolutely adore, cos he is so upfront, candid, and totally zany. as E noted, he is also the only person who makes no effort to refrain from Singlish at all even while on national tv. kudos to this cool guy man. he makes me laugh.

BUT... JONATHAN LEONG is the bomb. if you guys had any spare change, vote for him. when i met him, and his deep husky voice, that was it. he had me at "hello".

i was smitten lar.

ok yes, the eyes aren't really big, he's not really ur typical hard-core rocker, but he is damn suave in person.

i will stop swooning, but even my colleague, who isn't much of a JON fan, came out gushing like a 15 year old lar.

will def post more about IDOL, after i catch the finale and the results show! hahah and no, not giving away my tickets!

last but not least, support a good cause (in this case a budding entrepreneur friend of mine), head down to:

i'm sure you'll be able to find some cool stuff, so go go go down on SAT!

meanwhile, hang in there, its FRIDAY!

Relationships are all about trust, communication and effort.

Sometimes when someone bothers to make an effort to meet you every weekend, that means something.
When someone bothers to give u a call everyday, just to talk and hear your voice, it means something too.
When someone cares when you are sick, down, worried, sad... it means something.
When someone who is always there to pick up the phone for any advice you might need it really shows something.
When someone is afraid of hurting you, that says something.

I guess i am thankful for that someone who is always here for me, come rain or shine.

I guess this tells alot of where his heart is, and i guess, i am more than happy that it is working out.

Thank YOU for putting the smile back on my face.

i was just watching this show, where this couple, who are both doctors work in the same hospital.

male doc has got a female admirer in the form of a nurse who works under his wife. all 3 know that there is something happening as the nurse "nurses" a crush on the male doc.
male doc doesn't feel the same way about the nurse, but just doesn't know how to reject her. wife learns about it through observing him & her, and takes the first move in talking to the nurse, and trying to dissuade her by using analogies. nurse does not heed advice. then wife opens up and talks to male doc, saying that though it is not really his fault, he should still clarify matters with the nurse, and make things clear to her. most imptantly, wife believes the male doc, her husband, and has absolute faith in him, and leaves it up to him to clarify matters.

well, i guess if everyone is like the wife, all marriages would have faith. affairs would be few and far between.

i guess this is really what i want in my rship, is to have absolute faith. and that is what i have now.

I'm back from my dive trip over the weekend and i've completed my advanced course! haha. Still feeling abit retarded from all that nitrogen, so decided to post abit on my long abandoned blog.

Good thing about the trip was that i managed to coerce Xun to send me the pics from my previous leisure dive trip at Aur. Pwah, long awaited but better late than never. (pics from my advanced trip to come real soon)

Anyway, i had a blast, and for those who haven't got bitten by the dive bug, nor infected with dive-o-mania, here are some reasons why diving rules, even though you hafta withstand long sea-sick inducing journeys and smelly toilets...

1) The Island

No, its not the name of some crappy Scarlet Johansson movie, but the place where it all happens. Going away for weekends are amazing. It makes you forget about reality, run away to a deserted island, and really to let all your troubles go. It may be back to the basics but you really appreciate home a little more when you come back.

2) Sunrise and Sunset

It is only at the beach where you can find such beautiful views of sunrise and sunset. And of course, it is only at these places where i wake up early enough to catch the sunrise. ha. It is breathtaking, awe-inspiring and just simply wow.

3) Water

I love water, being in the water, getting splashed by water, looking at water, and just being around it. It calms me. It soothes me. Check it out, it is so clear that you can see the corals below.

4) The Fishies

This pic was taken from our dining area where we feed the fish our leftover food. (they are huge from all the weird things that they eat) No underwater cam this trip, thus this is the only pic with fishies. The wonders of the marine life is enough to keep you going, and wishing you had like 5000 bar of oxygen going to keep you underwater long enough to catch that reef shark, find that lion fish, or even see what "Nemo" is going to do next. Keeping fingers crossed that i will actually see a shark at Similans.

5) The Fashion

See how cool we look in our wetsuits (minus the weird expression on my face cos of the sun) haha, we look damn pro lar.

6) The Food

There is a reason why divers are fat. The itinerary for dive trips is always the same: dive, eat, dive, eat, sleep. The donuts at Aur are to die for... combined with Hershey's Chocolate Sauce is ooooooooh. I gave up my diet for it. It was worth it. The barbeque dinner, with chicken wings, sausages, prawns and crabs are super shiok!

7) The Friends

The company is always cool during dive trips, and this time it was Marc, Xun and Kuah. Everyone was easy-going, fuss free and just hilarious. The best thing is we laugh abt most things, bitch like we were in JC again, and just go through all the crap together. We came up with the Pristine effect, thought of nicknames for Skinny Beng and many others. At the end of it all, we are glad we have each other to enjoy this trip by.

See, Diving is fun lar!

well well, its been a long long time since i had the time to sit down and blog.

sometimes i find it weird, alienating in fact, to be reading my own writing. sometimes i feel lost and sometimes it just ain't right.

there are ups and downs in life, and somehow when your personal life is on an upward crawl, your working life seems to be sliding downwards, fast. i mean, sometimes, work is just not that fun anymore, when people leave, and then some change. oh well, such is life and who am i to complain if everyone is going through the same thing.

there is nothing much on my part to update, so just gonna leave you guys with some pics, with the track gang at One Rochester the other night...
