on a more bo liao note i decided to do this funny quiz taken from another friend's blog.

List 10 people off the top of your head:

1) E
2) Huijia
3) Yun
4) Merly
5) Kate
6) Marcus
7) Renhua
8) Yuqi
9) Addy
10) Zhiwei

How did you meet 10?
Oh, that was way back in Pri 5, when we got streamed to the same class after Pri 4. Ha. I call him Chinaman and he is a dear friend of mine. To date, we still hang out with the clique and he is one of the most loyal n giving friends i've ever had.

What would you do if you have never met 1?
I would never have been in love.

What would do if 6 and 2 were going out?
Marcus and Ah Jia! hahahah i would be abit worried, cos i don't think they are right for each other, even though i love them both! Yifeng's the one for him and Ah jia.. hehehe, she knows, i know.

Have you seen 4 cry?
Oh yar, and the amazing thing is, she cried when i was sad and crying, not from her own problems. that is what true friends are for.

How do you know 8?
Medical checkup for NUS! ahhaha we kinda saw each other thru a mutual friend, then we ended up in the same French class. We loved the NUS laksa stall and bonded through that and our love for making insane jokes n singing french songs. J'taime, mon amie!

Would you ever date 6?
alamak... no lar, he is like dear old friend lor. he is too fuss-free for me, and too into diving. haha.

What do you think about 7?
well, he and i have a pact, that if we don't get married before 35 or something, then we will marry each other! ha. well well, he was my best friend since pri sch, and he always will be one of my best friends. i've known him for at least 18 years, since pre-pri and he has always been good in keeping the friendship going. we have been through ups and downs together and i would never forget the letters that he wrote for me, even the small postcards when he was holidaying away at some exotic place. ha.

What would you do if 5 confessed that they loved you?
Ooh, she does i think... haha but i love her too!

A fact about 9?
She has really nice arms that are toned! A real swimmer's arms.

Who is 4 going out with?
She is the hot girlfriend of my pri sch mate, Zhiwei (aka no. 10) and she is no longer just a girlfriend of someone in the clique, but she is the clique. ha.

What does 2 do for a living?
well, she is my colleague, she sits beside me, my partner-in-crime at work, she is my fellow editor-in-chief for 3 mags, just like me!

Would you ever live with 8?
Why not? She's hot, she's cool and she has tons of clothes i could borrow! ha. She's also a lovely person inside and out.

Where does 7 live?
woah, its ironic that the person with the biggest house on the list is being asked this question. ha. he lives near KAP Macs in Singapore.

What do you think about 3?
She's my fave gal in my secondary school and the best thing ever to happen to me during my track days in RV. She's great, funny, beautiful and has the best personality ever!

What's best about 6?
he's the best person to dive with, cos you'd see many fishes and you'd feel safe.

well, there are sooo many more people i wanna put on that list and it is by no means exhaustive. i just thought of these people off the top of my head and some may just pop into my head when they ping me on msn...haha so right timing...

the weekend.

it was a great weekend, though not totally over, but it brought lotsa smiles to my face.

every single week, i cannot wait for 6.30 pm to come on Friday, just so i can run out of my office, scan on the stupid fingerprint machine and get the hell outta there. Either work life has become such a drone or i am looking forward to my weekends way too much.

this week was no different. i left work at 4 pm, cos of an external meeting with a client and i got to breathe the Shenton Way air a little,, after which i headed down to town to meet E. We had a date to watch "The Lake House".

well, we are not exactly sappy movie fans, considering that "Dude, where's my car?" was the show that had the 2 of us bowling over with laughter, non-stop. we enjoy the occasional action flick or disaster-type movies like "Armaggeddon", the oscar-worthy kind like "Forrest Gump" and "Lost in Translation"but sappy romantic movies are really few and far between. one of our personal favourite is "City of Angels". That movie kinda hit home when we watched it, rendering both of us to tears. ha.

Back to " The Lake House", i wouldn't say its fantastic but i wouldn't go to the extent of rating it as 1/2 a star. I just feel that somehow if they were trying to capture the chemistry between the 2 leads, er, i would have enjoyed watching Speed for the 587th time. Thing is, we realised that through the time flashforwards and back, it did feel kinda like Back to the Future and that the most confused guy, would probably hafta be Morgan(Dylan Walsh from Nip/Tuck) or Keanu's gay looking brother...

on sat, we both concluded that age is catching up on us. not only is my 24th birthday coming. (Yes 24th oh my goodness... aaaa) we are beginning to do ah pek and ah ma activities.

for starters, we eat zi char!
er yar, when we were younger, we realised that we would like order a dish of fried rice or hor fun and that is it. BUT to our horror, we realised that we are ordering dishes of food, like tofu, veg etc and 2 bowls of rice! how ah pek is that??!! last nite, we became high class ah pek n ah ma, cos we went to Imperial Treasures and ordered 3 dishes with rice. The food was gooood but it came up to a nice costly sum too! haha.

+

secondly, we drink wine!

met up with our favourite couple, ans & lyn for an impromptu catch-up sesh since our HK days and we are laughing and saying how "heng" we are not to run into a typhoon when we were at Disneyland.

we headed to this place along Dempsey Road, called the Wine Network. we had an al fresco seat outside that was nice and windy, along with nice german "kabernett" or cabernet as we know it, we talked about everything and anything under the sun. ha, this is what a chill out sesh is like... great fun! (not to forget about prata later on.... damn sinful!)

last but not least, we're actually working on our rship.

how many kids actually do that? its either we're tog or we're not. but i guess with us, at least we value it so much more and that we're actually mature enough to work things out slowly.

i guess this is called growing up.

Updatessss.....

Mys Birthdays Iss Comings Soons! Yeap yeap, i have absolutely no idea why i am even happy cos i'm gonna be one year older, but i guess its the one day that makes me feel abit more special than the rest of the people around. Narcissistic, i know. Really looking forward to it though... spending time with people who matter to me... =)

I got bitten by the dive bug again! I think i kena nitrogen narcosis or something, keep talking nonsense after i came back from my trip. Went for a weekend trip to Pulau Aur with my council buds, Xunster, Kel n Marc.... It was damn fun lar! We had a good time laughing about Skinny Beng, and some not so hamsom dude... ha. Waiting for pics from the Xunster... Will post up asap.

Currently thinking seriously about Similan in Dec... argh. I WANNA GO!

New Terminology Alert!

Was chatting with one of my fave girl bud from Uni, and she was telling me of her new rship.

She said: " I realised after chatting with one of my friends, that alot of us end of with ' 82 guys even though we keep saying we want older guys. My friend also just married an 82 guy."

haha it really has come full circle. The more we try to avoid the 82 guys, we kena them at the end of the day.

82 guy... not bad for an 82 girl lar, so i shall count my blessings.. haha
